Hope In Lent
This year we are focusing on hope during Lent as we look to God for Hope through prayer, bible study, and actions of kindness.
We will offer different ways to find hope this Lent
We are encouraging everyone to take part in the national 40acts series
Our Home Groups are holding courses focusing on Hope
There is a Listening Day and a Quiet Day too
This year our Lenten focus will be on 'Hope in Christ' in a world which appears devoid of hope at the moment. Sunday sermons in that time will speak about the concrete reasons as to why we should have such hope in our lives.
As usual we will be encouraging people to join a small group for Lent. Most groups will be
using materials based on "Les Miserables", but there will be some other choices such as a study based on the film 'The Way'.
There will be more details to follow. However, if you are interested in joining a group or even hosting one in your own home, it's not too early to let me know. Iain Macfarlane. t: 322921 e:
