Following the sad news of the death of Prince Phillip, Yate Parish along with others have extended deepest sympathy to the Queen and the rest of his family. The union flag will be flown at half-mast at Poole Court as a mark of respect.

Under the protocols in place for such an occasion, there would normally be a local book of condolence in churches, but in light of covid, the Church of England has opened a national condolence book online instead of local books.
