HEADLINES FOR THISUNDAY 19TH JULY

• THIS SUNDAY we have our full range of services across the parish.  Something for everyone, including 6.30pm Praise.  Looking forward to seeing you there.

• YATE PARISH ALIVE in WORSHIP is this coming Wed 22nd 7.00pm for refreshments / 7.15pm start in St Mary’s Youth Centre.  Peter will lead us in song and prayer, spending time in God’s presence and seeking his will for our lives and our parish.  Be great to see you.

• EXTRA MEETING.  You may see a notice posted in the churches for a meeting on Sun 16th Aug at 4pm at St Nix.  This is to elect a warden for St Nix, as someone has kindly come forward to take this on.

• LEAVERS SERVICE – we held a packed-out service at St Mary’s on Friday for St Mary’s School as we said goodbye to the current year 6’s and presented them with Bibles.

• PET SERVICE! is next Sunday, 26th July, at St James – 11.00am outside the church, weather permitting.

• AUGUST 8th/9th will be an exciting weekend in the parish.  The Sat 8th is the Westerleigh Village Day, and the Sun 9th we are holding a special 150th anniversary service for the Mothers’ Union at St Mary’s, which will be led by different members of the MU.
