God Gives a Promise Right at the Begining December 2nd

In our first reading from Genesis God sends Adam and Eve out of the Garden, but he does not abandon them. He promises that a descendant of Eve will strike the serpent. This reference is a promise that in the future a woman will strike at the heart of all evil. Mary does this when she says yes to God and to carry Jesus our savior. If we say yes to God today Christ can be born in us too.
