Mothers’ Union Global Day of Action
Saturday November 27th
MU Global Day of Action sets out to raise awareness of and support the United Nations 16 days of activism campaign. This year it is building on the focus of #nomore1in3 highlighting the fact that 1 in 3 women will be impacted by some kind of violence in their life. In Yate we are holding a vigil in Yate Shopping Centre. Wearing purple scarves we will gather at 12.45pm to hold a 3 minute silence at 1.03pm. We will hold placards carrying the message #NoMore1in3 and have information leaflets with help lines available.
