Announcement of New Interim Minister for Yate

The Bishop of Bristol is pleased to announce the appointment of the Revd Sue Gent to the role of Part-time Assistant Curate, to be known as Parish Priest, in the Parish of Yate.

This is an interim role to support the development of the Parish whilst it is in vacancy following the retirement of its former Rector and the upcoming move of its Team Vicar to another role. We are grateful that Sue will bring her considerable gifts to this role and thankful that she is called to serve in this way.

Sue will begin the role in the Autumn, with a licencing date to yet be confirmed. We continue to pray together with her and the parish as they each prepare for this next chapter.
