DEC Ukrainian Appeal

We are launching a Lent Appeal in support of the people of Ukraine who have had to flee their homes in the face of Russian aggression.

The appeal will stay open for the next six Sunday's up to Easter Day and the funds will then be channelled through the Disasters Emergency Committee whose member agencies are already on the ground providing much needed support. You can make your gifts directly to the DEC by going onto their website (www.dec.org.uk) or you can bring your gifts to church on any Sunday in Lent in an envelope marked Lent Appeal for Ukraine. Why not consider setting aside a pound a day (or more) for every day during Lent as part of the way you observe Lent or making Easter decorations which can then be sold as part of the appeal. And please remember that one of our values as a Parish is generosity.
