Thy Kingdom Come

Thy Kingdom Come

Thy Kingdom Come this year runs from Ascension Day, Thursday 26th May, through to Pentecost, Sunday 5th June. This is a time when, in unity with Christians across the globe, we spend time praying for people to know Jesus.

There will be many opportunities for people to develop their prayer life. You are most welcome to join us.

Morning Prayer 7.30 am live on Facebook (Mon - Sat)

Midday Prayers (15 mins) 12 noon weekdays 26th May - 3rd June at various venues:

Sunday 29th May: 6.30 Praise will have a Thy Kingdom Come theme running through the service with worship and prayer stations to assist you in your waiting for the gift the Father promised - our ecumenical service.

Prayer booklet: look for the prayer guide booklets left in our churches across the parish to help you during this time, especially if you are unable to meet up.

The Cheeky Pandas book will be distributed to all the children at Sunburst, Little Sparks and Praise and Play.

Thy Kingdom Come is simple and transformational. In praying 'thy kingdom come' not only do we invite God to have his way in his world, more crucially we invite God to have his way in us.
