Living in Love & Faith - The Course in Yate & Fromeside

The Church of England is exploring whether it should make changes to its current position on same-sex marriage and there is likely to be a vote in General Synod before the end of the year. In preparation for this every parish is being encouraged to look at the Living in Love and Faith material that has been produced. It seems appropriate to do this as part of our Mission Area partnership. Accordingly, we will, jointly, be running the Living in Love & Faith Course across two Saturday mornings (5th March and 2nd April). The course is open to anyone within the Mission Area who would like to attend.

The course will be run at St. Nicholas Church in Yate (BS37 4LG) and will start at 9.30am on both days and will finish by 1pm. Although it is acceptable to attend on only one day, we would strongly encourage you to aim to make both days as different topics will be addressed on each of the days. Those who have already done the course speak very highly of its mix of bible study, video interviews, unpacking of the issues and opportunity for open discussion in a safe environment; we encourage you to attend if you can.
